Same sex partners
Same sex partners may not marry in the state of Washington. Of course, it is wise for same sex partners to prepare a cohabitation agreement that fully sets out their rights and responsibilities in advance. When they do not, same sex partners face the same challenges regarding property and liabilities as unmarried heterosexual couples.
