Cohabitation agreements
We assist couples who anticipate living together by preparing cohabitation agreements that fully set out their rights and responsibilities in advance. We also represent parties who have neglected to prepare cohabitation agreements, when they end their relationships.

Many same sex partners have children. They face many complicated challenges around their parent-child relationships. This is true because at least one parent is not the biological parent of the children. In order to bring permanence to these relationships, a same sex adoption may be the best legal action, whether the adoption occurs while the parents are together as a couple, or as they are ending their relationship. Parenting plans and orders of child support must be entered for the children if the matter is in court. If the parents´ separation is not before the court then provisions for parenting and child support may be set out in a separation agreement that is a binding contract. We are experienced with all matters involving the creation of same sex partnerships, same sex adoptions, and the end of same sex partnerships.
