The unique aspect of family law

We recognize that in family law cases, the family relationships will continue after the legal system considers the case to be resolved. This is true regardless of the conflict that may have brought a case to our office or to the court. This is true regardless of the outcome of the legal process, The family will be changed in a dramatic way, but in almost all cases, family relationships will continue. This is different from most other legal matters in which the parties will have no further contact after the case is resolved.

Because family relationships will continue, we consider the interests of the entire family, especially the children, to be important as we represent our clients. We work with our clients to envision and work toward an outcome that meets not just their immediate needs but the interests of the entire family as well.
