We are a family law office in Olympia, Washington that has been helping families for over 25 years. We focus on all types of family law cases and work as assertive negotiators and litigators.

Areas of Practice

Our law office has the experience to help as families are created and change. We handle prenuptial and cohabitation agreements which can help when families begin. We help married and unmarried domestic partners. We handle adoption, guardianship and third party custody. When marriages or partnerships end through divorce or separation we handle a variety of family law matters including parenting plans, custody, visitation, spousal maintenance, child support, and the division of property and debt. We handle modification of child support and modification of parenting plans, too.

Who We Are

Paul Battan practices family law in private practice in Thurston County, Washington as a legal counselor, advocate, mediator and arbitrator. Paul received the Thurston County Bar Association´s Daniel Bigelow Lawyer of the Year Award in 1997, received a rating of "AV" from Martindale-Hubbell´ and was named a Super Lawyer by Washington Law and Politics Magazine in 2007.
